dbo:abstract | - Η Πανελλήνια Ένωση Κριτικών Κινηματογράφου (ΠΕΚΚ) ιδρύθηκε το 1976. Τα πρώτα μέλη της ήταν διάσημοι Έλληνες κριτικοί κινηματογράφου όπως ο Παύλος Ζάννας (διετέλεσε και πρώτος πρόεδρος), Κώστας Σταματίου, Αντώνης Μοσχοβάκης, Νίνος Φένεκ Μικελίδης, Βασίλης Ραφαηλίδης, Γιάννης Μπακογιαννόπουλος, Μισέλ Δημόπουλος, Θανάσης Ρεντζής και άλλοι. Από το 1977, ο σύλλογος ανήκει στη Διεθνή Ομοσπονδία Κριτικών Κινηματογράφου (FIPRESCI). Την ίδια χρονιά η Π.Ε.Κ.Κ. συμμετείχε στην οργανωτική επιτροπή του αντί-Φεστιβάλ Κινηματογράφου Θεσσαλονίκης . Το σωματείο των Ελλήνων κριτικών είχε ενεργό ρόλο στη διαμόρφωση του ελληνικού κινηματογράφου σε θεσμικό πλαίσιο, όπως και του Φεστιβάλ Κινηματογράφου Θεσσαλονίκης συμμετέχοντας στη γνωμοδοτική επιτροπή του Υπουργείου Πολιτισμού, όπου κατέθεσε την πρόταση για τη διεθνοποίηση του το 1991. Since 1977, the association belongs to International Federation of Film Critics (FIPRESCI).[1] Nearly every year, the PEKK gives out awards during Thessaloniki International Film Festival. The Greek Film Critics Association Awards is one of the most important awards for the Greek cinema. The PEKK gives also out award during Short Film Festival in Drama, Greece.
